Kitchen
I will improve workflow by reordering your most used items and taking into account height of shelves and weight of items. Streamlining your cabinets, drawers and cupboards and creating zones for each kitchen activity. You will be amazed at how much more relaxing it can be to work or prepare food in an organized kitchen. I will also leave you with the skills to maintain your newly organized space.
Closets
Together we will sort through everything and decide what to keep and what to donate. If you haven’t worn something in the past two years, chances are you will not wear it in the future. I will then reorganize the interior so that the remaining items are easy to see and reach. I also work on linen closets, children’s closets etc. I can also arrange for a new closet to be installed if you wish. Seeing what you have makes getting ready for the day ahead a snap!
Children’s Spaces/Toys
I sort toys, clothing, art supplies, etc., into groups and stow them in a container system that makes it easy to find everything…and to put everything away. It also makes it easier to involve your children in the cleanup process and to give them the skills to stay organized in later life.
Photos/Memorbilia/Collections
Most of us have collections of pictures and supplies thrown into boxes and packed away. I sort, categorize, and create attractive storage solutions for all keepsakes, hobby and art supplies and create a user-friendly work area that you will enjoy as well.
Garage
I will sort items into categories (by usage, sale, short or long term storage, discard or donate) and finally store everything in a logical manner so that you will have easy access.
I can also plan permanent installations if you are interested in a complete garage makeover.
Home Office/Filing Systems/Paper Management
Whether you run your business out of your home or have a place in your home to pay bills, I can create a system that is customized for your needs. Together we will sort and purge unnecessary paperwork and move outdated documents to long-term storage (if necessary). I will set up a filing system that is easy to access and understand (and instruct you in how to use it), making it easier to find what you need when you need it. I can make your office a pleasant place to work by eliminating clutter and adding the touches that make the space inviting.
I can also design the placement of and install new office furniture if you would like a new office space.
Electronic/Computer
Most people don't realize that keeping your computer files organized is
very much like keeping your paper files organized. I can help you clean
up the most unorganized computer desktop, and teach you to file your
electronic documents in an easy to understand efficient system.
Moving and Relocation
For most people this is a stress causing process but it doesn’t need to be.
If you are getting ready to sell your home I will help you sort, purge, and store non-necessities to stage your home for showing.
If you are planning a move I will assist in packing and labeling items by groups, rooms and most immediate need. This will make unpacking a breeze.
When you set up your new home, I will assist in unpacking and arranging everything from kitchen to linen closets in an efficient and pleasing way.
Downsizing
This presents a set of unique challenges. Not just sorting and purging, but helping the client to decide what to keep, what to gift, and what to donate. This is difficult for most people and I approach it with a gentle and understanding attitude.
Shopping
I can shop for almost anything you need for your home. From storage solutions and linens to clothing and food.
Space Planning
I can create efficient and harmonious rooms with zones for each activity that allow for maximum traffic flow.
